After four years with the State Library of Tasmania, Ruairi is excited about working at the Morris Miller Library. He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Information Management at UTAS, and after an enjoyable practical placement at the Science library vowed to one day return to academic libraries. Ruairi has worked as a reference librarian at the State Reference Service, a readers' adviser at Kingston and Hobart public libraries, and a children's librarian at Rosny library (he still misses the kids...though not the singing). Ruairi will be Liaison Librarian supporting the faculty and schools of Education, Philosophy and English, Journalism and European languages. He is greatly looking forward to meeting all UTAS staff and students.
