Morris Miller/CALT Morning Tea for Mutaho Children’s Foundation (MCF)

Rikki from CALT hosted a fundraising Morning Tea for the Mutaho Children’s Foundation (MCF) in the Tea Room, Level 1 of the Morris Miller Library at 10am on Thursday 17th June.
The MCF is not associated with any church organisations.

Josie and her husband Kizito set up the foundation in Kenya in 2007 and today they support over 80 kids. The MCF mission is to provide hope and opportunities for young people. The organisation aims to assist children escape the cycle of poverty by providing them with education, healthcare, shelter and ensuring that their basic needs are being met. Josie is currently living and working back here in Tasmania whilst her husband runs the foundation back in Kenya and would like to come along to chat with people about MCF over morning tea. If you are interested Josie can discuss how you can support the Foundation and the various programs that they coordinate.

MCF worries that over reliance on sponsorship may leave us less able to cater for ourselves—so as much as we can we try to support the children through the profits of our businesses/income generating projects. School fees and university fees are still beyond our reach however. If you would like to support us:
